    only bucket I bought is white and is my nano reefs top off container. the other time my ro/di hose is long enough to go from the closet to the tanks. any one know of any buckets with good handles that don't crack.

    2-27 gallon cube tanks, 2-10 planted, and a lot of other tanks that are empty( what to do with them ? ).

    Buckets for salt are almost always very durable. I suspect, since they are made to withstan lugging the 80# of salt, the 35# of water is no problem. The mount for the handles is significantly beefier than on a walmart/HD bucket. Most of mine are instant ocean but, my favorite is blue and much taller than a 5g. I think the salt name wore off but, I'll check . The higher sides reduce splash.

    Thanks for the heads up. Sometime else you can do is to make friends at your local donut shop. Almost everything they use comes in about 3 gallon food grade buckets. I have paid anywhere from .50 to 2.00 for them through the years.

    Hmmm, solid advice. Those are probably pretty durable as well.
