    WOW!

I am trying to understand the genetics of the color varieties. On the purples, is the only genetic difference between the light purple and the dark purple the color of the foot? Is foot color a dominant/recessive characteristic? Which one is dominant?

The yellow with stripes are really cool too.

the shells are somewhat translucent so the color of the foot alters the color we see the shell to be so blue is an ivory shell with a dark foot, dark purple is light purple shell with a dark foot, jade is a gold shell with a dark foot. Here are a couple sites on the genetics

this is my favorite and how I discovered the name for the jade color

Thanks! If I read correctly, the answer to my question is that dark foot is dominant to white foot.

according to the sites dark feet are dominant however i know in my population they make up a small percentage of the overall population. Although that is probably because of the low percentage of dark footed snails which makes me wonder if eventually I'll have to separate the 2 foot colors so I don't run out of light color feet

I'd like nano plants, and low light plants please. melt, and bad heater (went bad now found some replacements) plants no more.

bet they wood, oh Chris got some cool catfish in. they are right up your ally with you like the monster fish. speaking of 100 gallons I wonder if 3 cubes 20x18x20 would work on my stand or 2 one on the left, and one on the right. make the middle a book shelf.
