Thread: Small tank light

    Default Small tank light

I have a 2 gallon tank (8"x8"x8") that i want to turn into a planted shrimp tank. Im looking for medium light, enough to grow a veriety of easy plants still tbd. Would a clip on lamp with a 6500k 10W-15w CFL bulb be sufficient?

Also, where is a good local place that has a variety of shrimp? I would love to get Orange sakura shrimp.

I bought a desk lamp with an adjustable neck for my 5 gal. planted shrimp tank. I have a 6500k in it and it's worked great.

Thank you! Now to find some nice shrimp without doubling the price with shipping.

I had one of these on my 3.5gal and it worked great. Had a spiral fluorescent @ 6500K.

Shrimp on the other hand... I normally have to buy online (at least last time i got some).
    Thank you,
