Thread: My apisto collection...

    Default My apisto collection...

In the next few weeks I hope to be splitting this mix up into pairs or breeding groups in their own tanks once I get some racks built. For the moment, they are split between a 29 and 20H but have been doing remarkably well with little squabbling but no breeding either. The hongsloi males are about the only ones that "face off" from time to time but it is mostly all show. I still need to find females for the "kelleri" and "piaroa".

    Hongsloi males:

    Borelli:

    Cacatuoides:

    Breitbinden "Piaroa":

    Bitaeniata "Tefe Yellow":

    Baenshchi Males:

    Kelleri:

Yes! Very nice! I have recently found an interest in apistos. I picked up a pair of agassizi a couple of weeks ago and fell in love.

Very nice, Apistos are so underrated in the hobby.

do you still have these groups going? Just curious if you were able to get them breeding. I been chewing on having apistos for a few months now and hoping for a good local source.
