I'm pretty sure that more tanks is not a cure, that's a symptom of the disease! Those of us that are in the late stages of this have come to terms with our predicament! Lol!

I've got some in a couple of tanks that came in on some plants I bought. Those two tanks are the only ones that have plants with holes in the leaves. My Amazon sword plant has no green left on the bottom leaves, they ate everything except the basic frame of the leaf skeleton. I just looked up "what do ramshorn snails eat" and the answer was delicate plants like algae. Some varieties like eating the leaves of stem plants such as cobomba and...

You might try cutting it back, that usually creates more "branches" and makes it bushier. Also, you might try moving the ramhorn snails out. They eat plants and the cobamba is an excellent treat for them.

Ok, guys! The whole point of starting this thread was to inform you that I had found FOOD GRADE buckets, not that they were pretty white buckets, or that I found buckets that I had to pay extra for the lids! Heck, I get free buckets with lids at work once we use the paint that came in them. I just thought some of you would be interested and might not have realized where you could find them. Lol!

Yeah, I asked about lids and they had them on another shelf. They had a separate price.

Yes, I got mine at Angelmania. The fish I got were perfect and they were packaged great. The USPS managed to lose them, so they took an extra 3 days to get to me. Even with the extra time in shipping, I only lost one fish and Lee always ships extras. I ordered 9 and still ended up with 12. None of them have ever been sick or had any problems and I've had them since July of 2016. If I were ever to order any other angels, I get them from...

FYI, Lowe's has white food grade buckets for $4.58. That doesn't include the lids.

Yes, I use Kordon's Novaqua Plus and AmQuel Plus. I usually fill the Brute, add the water treatment, and put in a water pump to move the water overnight. Then, the next morning, I do my water changes.

Thanks, Michael. I usually fill up my 32 gal Rubbermaid and let it sit overnight to meet room temperature as I don't have any heaters in my tanks anyway, so that'll be easy. I was just hoping that there wasn't also a chemical change in the water.

Welcome to the box! Boy, are you in for the ride of your life! There's a huge amount of brain power to pick here and no question is a bad one because someone else probably had the same question, they just didn't want to ask. Good luck! Blue angels are my favorite and I currently have 12 of them.

Hey, guys. I just had a quick question. Has anyone living in Arlington had any problems (chemically) with the city tap water? The city changed out a fire hydrant at work and a day or so later the tap water has microbubbles in it. When I turn the faucet on very low pressure, the water comes out looking almost like milk. It clears up quickly, in less that 20 seconds, so I'm hoping that's all it is. The plumber has no answers for me other than...
