Carddude, how do you know that you have 627 fry? How can you possibly count them? I'm sure I couldn't do it! Lol!

She seems to be white/pinkish, however, she's in a dark tank (too many plants). I'll be moving them soon to another tank, so I'll get a better look at her then. All the other females are silver/grayish, and she really stands out.

One of the females I received at the swap last March seems to be an albino. Is this common?

Welcome back! You know what they say, "what doesn't kill you, just makes you stronger". You sound like you should be Superman by now! I'll give you a hint on how to find the right kind of partner, take a puppy for a walk around a park or PetSmart. They draw caring people to the one holding the leash! Good luck with the new tank.

When you say seltzer, are you talking about plain, bottled, seltzer water?

TheFredPit, I would really love some of your snails, but I can't make the swap. Please keep me in mind if you come back through Arlington.

We already have a calendar, but no one enters any info on it. I would like to keep it if we can get someone in charge of filling it in as things arise. It would be very helpful to be able to glance at it and see what's going on.

I'm sooo glad you weren't in your underwear while you were taking that picture of the 110! For some reason I saw your reflection and remembered the Craigslist photo! Lol! GLWS.

It looks great! I think you put the bolbitis in the perfect spot as it doesn't seem to need much light. I had one piece that had been completely covered with other plants to the point that I forgot it was there. I dug through them and found it, it was dark green and at least twice as big as it was when I put it in. As for using regular silicone to glue, it works fine on light weight items, but for heavy things I use Momentive RTV Series...

Michael, please correct me if I'm wrong. If I remember, when I asked this same question about the endlers I had purchased, I was told that most likely all "endlers" sold at LFS are endler/guppy hybrids. People that raise and sell pure bred endlers will charge accordingly.

You might throw in a piece of cuttle bone, the calcium helps with their shells. I have some in all my tanks even if I don't have shrimp in them, it still benefits the snails. Is there anything else in the tank that might eat the babies? What type of filter do you use?

I have a 75 that is severely over planted, with probably more fish than I should have. I have never had a problem, but then I have an aquatop pH 35 power head on the tank and it blows pretty hard.

Are the brown ones you have larger than the shrimp you started with? My brown ones are huge and shaped like a boat.

You might check out TRiN's Fish. He has both blue ($5) and yellow ($3) shrimp and there is no set amount you have to buy. I have dealt with them in the past getting fish and plants, and have been extremely pleased with them. The shipping is also very reasonable.

Michael, just Google diy aquarium fish food. Several recipes should pop up. If you try any recipes that call for baby food, try to get organic. The regular baby foods might use things that don't hurt children, but could be toxic to fish. Actually, that goes for all raw foods, too.
