I'll take it if it's still available. I just don't know when I'll get to your neck of the woods. Would you be coming to FW anytime soon?

I've got 12 angelfish all in one large tank and they all get along fairly well for angelfish. There's just a touch of mouthing going on, but I think that has to do with pairing off.

It could mess up her laying cycle, it will definitely mess up their sleeping cycle. I have always been told that fish need a dusk cycle to calm down and get into a sleeping mode. It also helps if they sleep in a particular place so they have time to get there. It would be like you moving around the house and all of a sudden all the lights go off. You'd just stand there for a bit and then try to find your way to the bed. It's always best to...

Ceratopteris cornuta and C. thalictroides. I think yours is the wider leafed cornuta. My cornuta barely grows in my tank but the thalictroides (very fine leaves) grows out of control. I picked up both types and some water wisteria at the same time. It did take me a little digging to get the scientific names to sort out which was which. Common names are interchangeable among plants and makes it hard to know which plant someone is talking about.

Which water sprite do you have? Indian fern or lace leaf? It looks more like Indian fern.

You might check out the angelfish videos from Angelmania. There might be something helpful there.

I don't know where you were planning on getting your plants from but TRiN's Tropical Fish have very inexpensive plants with $7.50 shipping. I just checked and right now they show 8 different types of anubias. All the plants I've ordered have come in looking great including the 21 plants that came in today.

Have you looked into clay flue replacement pieces? I'm not sure of the price as most of what I found was online, however, with a little digging, you might find something local. Just a thought.

My all-time favorite fish are the angelfish. Last year at this time I purchased a large group of blue, wide fin, pearlscale, marbles. I'm having such a blast with them. Discus have always scared me, I would hate to lose such a beautiful and expensive fish due to my ignorance.

It seems doubtful that someone that runs the typical "puppy mill" would take the time to keep fish alive much less multiplying in any condition to be able to sell.

My first thought was that he came in on some plants, but I found some online that look exactly like him that are morphs so he's definitely a morph. Several years ago I mixed three dark blue shrimp in with the light blue shrimp thinking it would darken them up a little bit. (Too many years dealing with paint!) Anyway, now I have a few light blue and dark blue left, but all the rest are a smorgasbord of light blue, dark blue, red, and clear. Most...

This would have been a great idea if the tank hadn't been stuck. I had not planned to continue using this tank. A lot of the plants are going into the 29 gal I got from Tugg and the shrimp are giong into a 20 long. And yes, you guessed right! I haven't done anything to the tank yet, it's still setting in the tote and all seems fine.

My problem was that while the tank only "appeared" to leak for 2 - 3 weeks, it must have seeped for a long time. I had mineral deposits literally holding the tank to the desk. So in order to move the tank, we had to break the seal from the desk. I had an idea that moving the tank might open the leak again, but I wasn't expecting it to come out so fast. When we picked up the tank, I could actually see the tank corner shift at the bottom, which is...
