I have a number of HOT Magnum canisters ,I can see if they work, well I don't know if I have time to test, but a couple of those plus snails might make it worth your stop, even if you have to just pick up from porch because I am at work.

I don't know if I will be around, I can try but my work schedule next week is fairly demanding. If I am home last fine. Last time I put some on the porch they died before anyone came to get.

My yellow angel got quite upset about my flash, I started squishing snails at waters edge after feeding and he or she came nipping at my fingers. Look at all the hatched eggs on that leaf. he/she was getting huge bites of food and spitting at the eggs so I'm guessing they have hatched

I now have more snails. And a mystery, I have lost 2 of the 6 rainbows that I got around the 3rd week of August and they all act afraid of the end of the tank the snails are on. No sign of disease, not ich, they seem to be afraid of the snails? At any rate, the snails I catch are leaving, free to good home or trash can. PM me this weekend I am treating the tank with melafix, I really don't see fin rot but I don't see anything else.

If I am getting custom glass for an aquarium, even for lids, I go to Binswanger. That's a Fort Worth / Arlington glass company. I wouldn't get it at home depot. You want shatter resistant glass, bring a sample of the broken side? or maybe someone on here has the correct name and a good vendor.

I haven't had a physical location since Feb 2003 Carddude. I had an online store and still have the remnants of one, and whole sale contacts. But my kids didn't have an interest in the business, and I have gradually let it go. Haven't bought fish wholesale since a bad batch in 2010. just got tired

I answer the questions I can and I have time for, and refer people elsewhere if I need to. I try to be polite to everyone. but I know that keeping my website up to date is an annual to bi-annual event, I'm just spread too thin, which is why I'm phasing out the online store and now do honeybee removals and rescue instead.... you can get a better price on amazon retail than I can get wholesale on most stuff

I can't speak for them but I can speak for myself. The online store of 15 or 17 years ago was a lot different than it is today. In 2000 I could stop, take a phone call, take your order by phone, run the card and ship the order. Then petsmart petco, Big Al, and eventually Doctor Foster & smith came along. When it is 1 phone call every 3 days I am on another job doing work to pay the bills and I can't stop and take that call, the website runs on...

It's 10 apiece plus shipping for the ballasts. Thank you though, $46 on an if, I tried the diy led's on the reef a couple of years ago and I was terribly disappointed, they didn't provide enough for my anemone or soft corals or even my mushrooms, I mounted them inside the light fixture cover so I wouldn't have to run 2 additional fixtures to provide enough light in the tank. still had to. Thank you though, I don't see how to close this thread.

I got a nice dual fixture with my 39 gallon high, 30 inches long, but the ballasts are both bad. Replacing them: about $30. I can do this, but it I can do LED that is adequate to light a 24 inch tall tank for plants, for the same price, I'd like to do that. Any suggestions?

had to be the muck in the MTS? I'm scared to try that. I kept reefs without sand and reefs with, and I always lost fish after organics built up below the surface with anaerobic bacteria

I haven't lost any of my shrimp yet (first tank) instead they multiplied, but I used some weird compost and bagged topsoil and dirt from my garden pot mix and put it in a pot with aquarium filter floss and rooted the plants in it. I run a bare glass bottom and I can just siphon up the goo with a plain hose, and net the shrimp out of my bucket and put them back if they get in the way. Plants have filled the 10 gallon up pretty well. I use a...

well get some more tanks. I have too many balls in the air to hook this thing up. I can keep it for my original purpose, protecting bee stuff from small hive beetles and wax moths, if my comb boxes outgrow my freezer....I found out that the one at the aquaponics place didn't come with a gauge so maybe I didn't get ripped off too bad, it's a pretty nice gauge.

Angels, again. and they are good parents, my topping off the tank knocked off a lot of eggs the last time, and....this tank is not having fungus issues. If only I could catch those 2 male guppies.

I'm guessing that I got ripped off and ya'll need to go to your hydroponics store to buy one. So I'll the thread open but I realize that this is too much and probably too large for most aquarium setups, and I got a very fancy guage set. However it isn't doing any harm in my cupboard.

Lowest it's going is $175. I can hang onto this and may yet find a use for it, but I spent way too much to offer it for $50. Will be closing thread when I don't have time to follow it. or when I sell it elsewhere.

Let's try $200 OBO with a picture of the tank, which says it holds 88 cubic feet.
