I put this one together today, I've been planning it for a while to go with my 36g quarantine tank. Only thing left is to buy another light diffuser from Home depot to make the racking system for it. I have plans to build an over/under stand to put these tanks on with some storage space on the bottom. This was used as my main tank untill I bought my 55 I have now. It has a 3 chamber filtration area where it will overflow onto some live rock...

Dont worry I'll have pics of the new bracing. The original was just the flimsy plastic the top trim is made of. I was thinking 2 strips of acrylic glued to the trim on either side of the filter or 2 strips of glass on either side of the filter, I haven't made up my mind yet. I Also have thoughts on modifying the filter to incorporate the uv light and heater inside of it.

To put the filter where i wanted it i had to cut out the center plastic brace. I will be replacing it with 2 new braces, one on either side of the filter. I have a basic...

Yes it does, I've used it before and will use it here too. I just need to spend a little time routing the wires first.
