prahsms replied to a thread Breeding Fish in Want To Buy
I took in a pair of Rio Otapa Swords to Texas Aquatics last weekend. I wish I had space for them, because the fry they produced was getting a really nice orange on their dorsal fins (not sure if it was supposed to happen or not). They might be there still if you're still interested! They were breeding prolifically when I had them.

I would jump on that too. Cleaning can take maybe an hour for a hardcore deep clean on it. Re-sealing longer (total time I spend resealing a 120 was about 5 days including way extra time to let all of the silicone cure). Maybe a couple hours with some vinegar, acetone (be careful with this for the silicone / cement holding the glass panes together), paper towels, and a razor blade and you'll be set to reseal it!

I was able to get a 24" x 24" x 12" tall ~30 gallon (edit: it was used) from Texas Aquatics in Hurst about a month or so back. I'm not sure if they still have them available though. I think it cost me around $30 after tax and such. (Edit: My wife wants to use it for a frag tank as well) If you're planning on breaking down pre-existing tanks to make your own, I would double check on the width of the glass you're planning on using. For longer /...

Maybe an apisto colony? Or a low tech planted tech with killifish? +1 on the paludarium idea, that would be pretty slick.

Standard 75 gallon dimensions with stand, lids, and a marineland canister filter for $100. I had the tank up and running til just under a month ago and broke it down to downsize. I've also got a 48" 24/7 Planted+ light that I can try to locate the feet for that could go with it if you want to do a FW planted tank. Was used for FW, and I'll be finishing removing the substrate and doing a cleaning in it. I'm hoping to move it quickly, so we can...
