    Any inert substrate will be fine for them. A black substrate would be best, they will stand out best. Since it will be inert you will have to supplement with nutrients. Either dry fertilizers or a pre mixed one. If you go the pre-mixed one, I highly suggest ThriveS.

    I went and enjoyed it somewhat. lack of freshwater was a let down. Not a salt person what so ever. Managed to take home 2nd in the Solid color neo category.
