They seem to be more of a summer fish. It seems that mid to late summer they start to show up for a few months.

There is nothing wrong with that. I just wanted to throw some things out there to think about. There is nothing wrong with that. I just wanted to put an opinion out there. If you saw how many spreadsheets I have it is insane.. data is good. I worry about what people do with it.

I would argue that VB is one of the most expensive forum options... I wish we would have made the move years ago when forums were a thing and there was a lot of support... now not as much. If you have watched some of the other forums that have thousands to spend making a conversion, it rarely goes smoothly.... We do not have thousands. I have thought about breaking down the cost of the website compared to the revenue it generates but I...

I think there are a couple things to think about. 1. What is accuracy? Given 99.5% of our fish stuff pretty much looks the same with some level of grime, dirt and debris your policy for testing water is much more likely to get altered between the tank and your test.. we don't have labs or anything remotely clean enough to have actual experiments to there will always be a level of doubt. Second, most of these kits expire long before we...

We have needed an upgrade for a while and I need to move servers. Going to do both early part of next week. The recent string of people trying to abuse the forum (spammer bots) are very annoying and we just need a change. I am not 100% sure what we will end up with, I suspect it will be VB5 much against my wishes. :spend: Right now I am planning on doing this on Monday or Tuesday of next week. Probably go dark Monday morning and work...

I will second that... I give that a zero chance on a healthy fish especially a BN. They are not weak and docile fish once provoked. I have had thousands of assassins in tanks with all sorts of fish and haven't seen them attack a fish even something like a Bichir that spends 95% of it's time on the substrate. Will they eat the eggs of a BN... Maybe.. but not likely.

The test I always say to run is to take a 1 gallon milk jug, fill it with water and pour it out in your driveway or something. Imagine that mess x however many gallons.
