I don't know where these guys are or what they are saying but I'm pretty sure they are fishing for Tiger Shovelnose. Never seen anything like this.

Since it is TSN, must be somewhere in south america..

Interesting method of fishing indeed...

That is pretty cool.

Frekin' bog/swamp plants look 2-3 foot thick

Kinna like ice fishing but not cold :D.

There are a variety of places like this in CA and SA.

Aztecs(if I remember correctly) were real big on living in areas like this.

Am I the only one who is wondering how these fish taste? I'd like to know...

Should be the same as tigrinus ...same family. My 18" died and I couldn't let go...so I kept him in a freezer for a year :)

You could've come over and taste an $ 1000 catfish :)

PS: I finally let go and burried him :(

They supposedly taste really good. TSNxRTC were bred for farming really big(redtail cat) and taste good (tiger shovelnose) in sa where everything that swims, crawls, or flies ends up on the dinner table(kinda like louisiana). Sad I would easily of paid 100x what those fish were worth to them.

That is crazy how they were walking on top of the swamp. The bait was almost as big as most of them fish I usually catch. LOL. I kinda felt sorry for the fish though.

Neat video. Not like anything I've seen before. They are more than likely in Brazil (speaking Portugese & most of the Pantanal lies within the borders of Brazil).
