You might try aquabid or Joanhs Aquarium.

what kind of natives are looking for? you could go....fishing...
near you in glen rose at big rocks park is a neat place to look for bait(the bait is what you're after)...you need a fishing license. rod and reel for long ear sunfish, dip net for shiners, black stripe top-minnows, orange throat darters. plains killi fish, funduls zebrinus can be had behind the lake Whitney dam...i'd check behind grandbury first... Fundulus grandis the gulf killi is also behind the lake Whitney dam.

Caddo lake is the only natural lake in Texas, anyone know what was originally native to it?

Native American? :) Beautiful western star-head top minnows and golden top minnows there!

If you ever wish to do a native tank setup I suggest go to a lake/stream/river and study the biotope and its fauna, you can easily replicate some with nature collected aquascaping materials. I did when I tried sunfish and fundulus sp from a nearby stream...I would do this if I was not collecting any threatened species or cause damage to the biotope...so try that before you order any native fish..

I agree, the fundulus are not varied in our neck of the woods but the blackstripe topminnow is a neat native killi. You can find fundulus zebrunis in plano, most are pretty plain but some with red fins can be had there. Don't forget your fishin' lic. ;) you are" lookin' for bait"... :)

One of my favorite lakes in the state! Did some googling and couldn't find a good answer to the question though. TPW focuses mainly on game fish and wiki had general info. Most of the other hits were about fishing on the lake, which is awesome but not what I was looking for.

One of my favorites too...The darn thing is just too far away. I like collecting(looking for bait) there.

Just remember, natives should never be returned to the wild after being kept in our aquariums.
