Please bare with me as I have no picture for reference. I set up a 10g tank outside and placed several plants from my pond (4 leaf clover and something else). I then placed a couple of handfuls of grass in there for good measure. I was preparing the tank to raise daphnia in. Well it appears that a few things hitch hiked in. Several baby dragon flies have been found under the screen top and tonight I have found several crustaceans that are approx. 1/4" long and look like a shrimp that has grasshopper legs. Anyone have any ideas as to what these shrihoppers are? Thanks

I don't know what the crustaceans are, but I know that dragonfly larvae are bad news for everything, including fry.

Look up gammarus on the web and see if they look like yours?

Cool. They make good fish food if you have fish big enough to eat them ;)

Periodically there are folks on here who are looking for scuds. If you get a bunch of 'em, post it and you'll be a popular guy!

Well it appears that dragonfly larvae really enjoy scuds as well.... I have found at least 10 dragonflys this week.... Hopefully they will all hatch directly and I can get rid of them.
