Can't wait to see this progress! Wanting to set up a nano reef is what got me back into the aquarium deal, but I somehow ended up with 10 or 11 freshwater tanks instead! lol! Still considering a nano or a fowlr down the road though. In the meantime, enjoying looking at everyone else's :D

What a cute tank. If that were mine, I'd get a cute little cherub angel to go in there (after it's fully cycled, of course). The green stars you chose should do great in that light. Good luck and have fun with it!

Great Job! Thanks for sharing the pics and progress. My next project is exactly this, a 24g nano. Tore my reef down a year or so ago and miss it greatly.

im just going to get out for the time being ive got to many things going on now thought i could just keep a smaller tank and do what i have to do but isnt going to happen ive still got a 100 gal complete saltwater tank thats not up and i will just set it up when i decide to get back in

Sell the 100 and keep this one. So much easier to maintain dude

X2. The bigger tanks are over rated I think.

09-12-2011, 08:24 AM
u can get the whole system from me if u like lol and whats ur plans blayne with the 210 i was thinking of selling all the saltwater stuff from the 100 and just doing fresh again

jello
09-12-2011, 08:33 AM
I would buy that set up just for the lights but would hate to break it apart. It looks really good. I still have a small cube salt reef. So im not out of salt but the 210 is gonna have shellies and calvus. The viewable sump will be community planted most likely. I still say keep the nano and sell the 100...lol

I agree with blayne. I love my lil tank. Its so easy

dallasfishman
09-12-2011, 08:46 AM
thats what i might do the 100 i got is complete it was a commercial tank with built in chiller uv lights 4 stage filtration 30gallon sump under with a steel stand side overflow and then ive got about 100 lbs dead rock 100lbs dead sand and a ref devil deluxe skimmer rated for a 180

kleankord

me too. I'll give you a par38 bulb with stand and $40 for your current fixture.

jello

Turn the 100 into fresh, sell all the extra stuff and keep the nano...sounds like a plan to me...lol

dallasfishman

I have been considering geting a nano and setting it up as salt as well.

I have a 72G bow front that is salt and I am really enjoying it.

Where did you get your nano from and, if you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for it? I have been trying to find a good deal on one.

dallasfishman
09-17-2011, 07:23 PM
