Dispels the myth that acrylic is more libel to leak I think

I think acrylic leaks more cause its used in different methods with curved and cylindrical applications anf larger tanks so it gets,a,bad wrap

Actually, I would think acrylic leaks less since it fuses to itself during the sealing process. I've had two glass tanks leak and none in my acrylic (knock on wood!).

If we ever make it to Germany, I know where I want to stay! But I sure hope there aren't any earth quakes while we're there!!

I can't help but wonder if they have a "backup plan" in case that thing develops a "tiny" leak. Can you imagine CATCHING and putting ALL those fish in some type of "holding" tank in the back? Geez!

Also, although it's on a very large scale, I thought deep, cylindrical tanks weren't all that great for fish due to the reduced surface area. I guess they've got that all figured out somehow.

I have a friend that lives near Berlin. I will have to ask him to go by and check this tank out (if he hasn't already). I also wonder how long it will be before someone builds one BIGGER. :)
