Anyone have bamboo in their tanks? I see this stuff all the but I thought it was more of a plant to keep halfway out of the water. Do Bamboo shrimp actually like bamboo?

I know some people who have it in their tanks and some works good some does not. It also seems to work better half in half out of the water.

Oh so nasty!! WHat did the worms look like?!?! Where did you get said peice of bamboo?

Got them from Lowes. They were in a pot and when I took them out, they STUNK!!! I thought rinsing the roots and cleaning them up a little would work, but then I started seeing black, squirmy worms, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch and that was all I could take!!! Out they went!!!

HOLY sh....That wouldn't have worked even as a house plant. That thing must have been rotted from the inside! ewwww
