I bought a krib and added it to my 105gal community tank. My question is can I get another or should they be kept individually? I don't want to get another and then have one terrorize the other.

A 105? They may never see eachother - LOL!

I don't believe it will be a problem, but I definately would be sure to get the same sex. Kribs are VERY aggressive when breeding and will stress out fish 5xs their size easily. In fact, if they breed it would be more like you had a two 52 1/2 gallon tanks as all the other fish would likely be forced to the other side.

I have like a dozen in my 125. Seriously, I have no problems with them. Besides, you want them to breed, right? Get another one, or 6 even.

Oh, and they are in there with some smaller angels, guppies, platies, loaches, plecos, various tetras. Point is your tank is big enough so don't worry.

Thinking about adding a couple to my community tank also.

Anyone know somewhere that is selling? Petsmart near me has them at time but pretty rare.

i would say pet o rama, but i dont think they have one close to frisco. DNA or some other place would most likely have them if you dont mind the drive

I don't know - I raised two spawns in the past and both weren't ready to go for about 4 months at the least. I didn't do brine shrimp, though - so if you are that could make a difference.

ask Howard (txaquaticgardens), I passed a breeding pair on to him a while bach and he had told me that they spawned. He is in Richardson.

Exotic Aquatics has some. They were a bit on the pricey side (2/$15) but i don't mind.

Got a male and a female and am really enjoying them. Looks like they are already starting to pair up, might give me the excuse to buy another grow out tank.
