That's a lot of fry.
Watcha plan'n on doin with all of em?

I like Kribensis but don't have any tanks that I could keep any in.
I hear that there isn't very many fish that they can be kept with.
Do ya have yours in a tank by themselves?

they are by themselves now but i did have them in a tank with 3 yellow labs, a srt hongi, 2 red jewel cichlids, a demasoni, bristlenose pleco, and 2 auratus, 2 electric blue johanni. They are great fish, right now i just plan to grow them out and sell a few or so and keep a bunch for trade and what not, they are very docile fish and stay at the bottom which is a good thing for them

...they are very docile fish...

Hmm... that's what I was think'n too but read the opposite of that.

Not sure of who the author of this info is but this is what I read:

Temperament / Behavior : This is a cichlid and cichlids are known as fish that can take care of themselves and their territory. They are not recommended for community tank setups and will even fight amongst themselves around breeding time. The females can sometimes be the more aggressive except when the male is guarding the nest. This fish would be best kept in a species only tank.

Compatible Tank Mates : Not recommended for community tanks although many hobbyists keep them with Tiger Barbs and Rosy Barbs. Use caution and watch closely for signs of aggression if you keep them with other fish.

Anyways I thought they were SA but found out that they are African from Nigerian rivers.
I'm look'n for some SA fish to put in my SA tank with my Keyhole Cichlids.
They are some great look'n fish though.
Maybe some day I'll give em a try.

I've seen them with angels without any problem. I guess it kinda depends on the fish. They are not really all that aggressive.

I have a bunch of Nigerian Red males that Tim Allen bred in a planted community tank. I have lemon tetras and a large school of cardinals with them without any problems.
