I have blues, magentas and a couple bolivian rams in each tank.Any feeding suggestions? Ive always fed them algae wafers and assumed they ate left over blood worms and flake foods.
Anyone use other items? Im thinking of getting calcium tabs or something to help with shell growth. Anyone else use tabs?
Any suggestions or experiences would be great :D

I use them to eat leftovers and algae, I really don't feed anything specific to them.

In one account I read that calcium supplements are much appreciated by the snails. In another I read that it's not necessary if you have hard water.

My observation: I have hard water yet the snails' shells got thinner and thinner. If I still had snails I would add calcium

What would you add? Tums?

Ive seen snail people do a snail jello which consists of tums plus other stuff like spirulina

I read that sea shells crushed into a baggy like pantyhose or filter material slowly emits calcium into the water, also crushed coral according to the person in charge of The Fish Gallery today I also read cuttlebone might work but im think cuttle bone may float but I have not tried anyof these just what Ive been told or have read the last few days.
