I hardly ever see these guys but this one was on the glass today so I grabbed the camera. They're reef safe and great at keeping the rocks clean of collected food and keeping the sand stirred up. I have no idea how many of them I have. Usually I just see a leg poking out here or there. This is the first time I've seen the entire animal, especially out on the glass during full lights. Jus thought I'd share. :)

Thanks, everyone. Dave, yes, it's the tank with the clown. It's the only SW tank I have now; I sold the other one. The entire micro starfish is only about the size of a quarter (including its legs), and, from what I've read, that is as large as they get. If they have SIX legs, it means they split from another starfish as their method of reproduction. Hope everyone has a great day!

you may think most of them are brittle stars but the ones that you see just 1 tenticle sticking out of the rock is a type of worm and the devour coral.
