View Full Version : Aquatic plant with a strange smell

Hi,
I got an aquatic plant that looks almost like hornwort (but it sinks)and it has roots.
This plant has a very strange smell (it doesn't smell like it is rotten, just a weird, strong smell).
The plant looks very healthy .
Any idea what that could be?
I can make pics but it really looks just like hw

There are several species within that same family that all smell bad :puke:

Pond Penny does as well.

Pic would help in getting a positive ID.

I already tossed it away . it was skunkweed/ stinkweed/ muskgrass/ chara ssp.
