They have been selectively bred to bring out those colors. Similar to the Glowfish Danios. So far as I know this is not a dyed fish.

Do they play nice with Oscars? I like them and the wife and kiddo liked it. Pretty nice fish. What do they start at?

I have three of these fish total. Two are in the Discus tank and one is in a tank with a Blood Parrot and two other additional German Blue Rams. So far so good. I would not recommend keeping these with Oscars though. Anything that CAN fit into their mouth will eventually 'disappear'. These fish are community oriented, just need a little corner to call their own. Purchased them at The Fish Gallery and the going rate was forty dollars. A little much but they are not ordinary fish.

Dang it, thats rude! $40 whooping bucks! You need to get breeding pal. We need discounts, mega discounts! Us fish folk need to stick together here. Put the spanish fly to the tanks and supply the world!!! We are taking over!
