Default Electric Blue Ram

Just picked me up a new fish! Went to The Fish Gallery this morning and found myself once AGAIN looking at the Discus. Salesman approached me and told me to stop or I would end up taking one home. Told him about my dear departed Harold (Blue Turquoise) and he asked if I had ever seen this Ram. Took one look and then took one home. As soon as she comes out of hiding I will post a picture. Already have a male and female Blue Ram in the tank with a black sand substrate. Till then look at this one

I saw them there today also.I am not a ram person but my first thought was this is much prettier than the electric dempsey.

I saw these last night on another forum, and thought they were pretty sweet. I was going to try to look at some in Houston while I am there. Great new fish you got!!

Tim, while in Houston go to see the Fish Gallery and the Houston Aquarium Warehouse. Both are fairly close to the medical district, especially the Fish Gallery. Good luck and good wishes for you!

My daughter lives near Houston. When I went in the spring, I visited several. These two are the best. After that, they became more of the same ol' same ol'. The only exception was the Fish Ranch in Rosenberg. Nothing to look at, but he had some GREAT chiclids. Dan at the HAW said he was moving more towards small fish and fewer chiclids. He has the best discus around and great prices. He has a great eye for fish and can pick out some great ones for you. Have fun!
