That is awesome! Can you picture a tank that size planted with neons and rainbows?!!!?
Im going to listen to it again. I had two running at once. But that is one mans tank. He moved them to a new place of his. Big tank. His old tank was big enough. I know I little german so I will try to piece it together. The first tank is a 40,000 litre. Took me a few to pick that out. 40 000 liter = 10 566.882 094 gallon [US, liquid] which means He had one big freaking tank.

ok here is the translation
This house looks just like any other house in a little city in the middle of Thuringia, BUT when Andreas Stelzig goes down to the basement he enters a very different empire .
In his tank (almsost 14,000 liters / 3,700 G) he tried to rebuild the natural habitat from the Orinoco River (South America ). He explains that all the fish in his tank are natural tank makes b/c they are all from that river.
He then explain the different species (Pacu , Catfish ,Chilid, aros etc).
He tells the interviewer that there are some species that gonna reach a size of 3 meters (9.9 feet)
After that he explains the dimension of the tank :
lenght 4.30 Meters / 169.29inch
wide 2. 40 Meters / 94.49 inch
height 1.30 Meters / 51.18 inch
Then he explains how he became a fish geek (he started with a 10 G als a little boy and each year the tanks got bigger , that he wished he could have the tank in the living room (but the house is not strong enough ), that he hopes he can build a bigger one in the future (but he want to have that one in a wintergarden and not in the basement ) and that he is a fishidiot ( he plays with the German word for a Aquarist and calls himself Aquaidiot )
Then he explains his filter system , that he don't have to do water changes because his filter does that automatically, every day the filter puts 210 G freshwater in the tank ).
He also says that it is an expensive hobby but that he LOVES it.
So that's it
Ah btw the guy has the biggest private Fishtank in Germany
Oh and excuse my grammar mistakes (I'm a German and English is just my second language since 3 years )
fischlein added 8 Minutes and 31 Seconds later...
That's his website - he builds custom fishtanks (but it's in German )
