They are beautiful! Where did you get them? I have a couple of pencil fish I acquired with a new tank, and I love them they're really cute.

The Nannostomus beckfordi I picked up at True Perc about a year ago. The Nannostomus marginatus I got on a group order on here, went in with fishman76092.

Nice planted tank you got there! Pencil fish, are they community oriented or are they aggressive?

Having seen these fish in person, the pics don't even do them justice. I wasn't the biggest fan of pencil fish, but I gotta tell you I was surprised at how cool they were.

I have those posted in the Dwarf section go take a look. I have them listed under Apistogramma trifasciata (http://www.dfwfishbox.com/forums/production/showthread.php?t=9379) not the greatest pics. I have to save the good ones for the POTM. LOL JK.

what i can see looks good. not able to look at thumbnails yet. always wanted pencils but never found any in stores. nt

Pencil fish are very attractive in a planted tank!
