Work for what?
The only draw back I see is it's only a single lamp.

Work for anything. It says you can daisy chain up to 8 together. I am looking for a cheap way to light a few of my tanks....

I question the "high output" claim. The site is seriously lacking on specs. But other than that, yeah they should work fine. The 65K should do well for a planted tank. If it's a fish only tank, I would look for bulbs higher on the spectrum, since the 65K is going to be in the yellow/green spectrum.

I don't know, now that I've went & looked at HO lighting on other sites, the wattage seems right. Maybe they truly are HO lights.
If they really are, I'm going to buy them for my SW tank & swap the bulbs out! HO systems typically start around $100 for a single bulb fixture.

for the money the coralife aqualight T5 dual fixture lights are a great deal...i have the freshwater version on my discus tank but switched out the 6700k bulb to the 10000k bulb....
difference in fresh and salt:
salt has the 10000k bulb and a blue bulb
fresh has the 6700k bulb and a full spectrum (pink) bulb
they go for 50 on the internet, just make sure youre looking at the dual bulb version

I know a couple places here locally to get these, and one a little cheaper.
I was going to post something about it later, I just have not got around to it.

Which tanks are you looking at putting these over?
They seem like really good deals to me.

Dang it, that is cheap. I wish I saw this thread earlier. i got ripped off.
I bought a used CL PC 24" 2 bulbs off DFWMAS for $50. When I got home and plugged it in, after only half an hour or so, 1 of the bulb went out on it.:(
