I liked some fishes at Arizona Aquatic Gardens website, however I have never bought any livestock from them before. Anyone has experience dealing with them? The prices are attractive but don't know how the fishes are when they ship, what size, shipping etc. I just don't want to end up buying from them and getting sick fishes. Any comments or experiences you guys want to share may help me decide my purchase from them.

I have no experience with that particular store, but most only ship overnight and if it's expected to get cool-cold within that time frame they force you to purchase a heat pack (heat pack = good, cheap insurance).
Most will ship only juveniles so sexing will probably be hard (depending on which species you purchase).
I would probably recommend a small order at first to see how it goes.

If it was me, I would post what kind of fish you are looking for in the want to buy section of the clasifieds here in the forum. You might find what you are looking for from members and save on your shiping and also be able to see the fish before you buy.

I didn't see any africans that were rare... IMHO there is no need to mail order common fish.
3/4" is a small african very common.
You may want to check with some of the LFS to see if you can get fish that are similar in size before you spend for the shipping.
either way good luck.

and BTW...
since you are looking for a great source for rare Africans...
Dane at Rift2Reef (http://www.rifttoreefaquatics.com) in lewisville is a site supporter and is local (lewisville) can get whatever you need.... most of the time.
If he can't there is a great online source in San Antonio...

i just ordered a few fish from there this last week. the shippment made it fine and the fish are still alive. I got what i paid for. the box had a small heat pack and thery were shipped overnight. so far, im please with them. and i wasnt getting african cichlids. There are lots of africans around here, so i would probably stay local for those.
