chilling on the filter

is it bad is my peacock eel likes to chill on the sucky part of the filter?? the first time i got so scared cuz i thought he was dead. but then, i was gonna move him to see if he was still alive, and he swam away like nothing. he still swims around alot like normal, but i guess he likes how it feels or something on the filter?? it doesnt seem likes hes dying or getting weak or anything...so i dont think its that...

anyone elses fish do this?

i bet there is good slime there. i have sponges over the intakes of some filter in some tanks that plecos love to hang out on.

well my albino plecos all sit right on top of the heater elements and are loving it...go figure too

one of my plecos never moves from beside the intake tube

guess there is a steady stream of food there
