Woke up the Rams this morning and it seems I'm not the only one that didn't get any sleep last night!

Congrats....
I wish I could get mine to lay eggs.... hell I wish I could just keep them alive. My male died tonight. I went through 3 females now the male dies.... I think I am done with this ram business.
Cool fish just wish they were a little hardier.

I am up to my ears in Ram eggs/fry right now.. I am dealing with three spawns all withing 2 days of each other for German Blue Rams, I have a pair of Bolivians that are doing the dance tonight for the first time, and I have a pair of Golds that are REAL buddy buddy! Exciting but nerve wracking, I want to make sur they are all healthy little bb's

Thank you everybody! I'm excited but nervous, I have to siphon the fry to the tank below when they're ready and the thought of doing that is a little unnerving, lol
Today's the day we should see some babies but Gracie's already moved the eggs to a pit. Everything I've read says that she waits for them to "hatch" before doing that.
If a few hatch, will she go ahead and move the new fry and eggs...because I'm not seeing any babies yet but they're tiny little specks so I just might not be seeing them?
The last time they did this, I didn't see anything until the babies were already swimming.

I had a unexplained temperature drop in the tank and lost all but 4 or 5 babies. :(
I don't know what happened, the heater was still set at 86. I saw the light on but the thermometer only read 70. I didn't have the tank full to the top so I dumped warmer water in and it's been fine since.
