I logged into hfb and I couldn't find anything about them merger... not even a link to dfwfb...

I just found that kinda interesting...

I've been a member of the Houston Fishbox for awhile and I really enjoy the site. I especially found the posts during and after the hurricane interesting, kind of an inside look at how it affected the fish community and everyone in general.

Yeah, HFB recently upgraded to a new forum program (actually they're now using the same one we use), and I know they're still working out the bugs.

They just now got the "Plant Section" re-populated with the previous threads (there were only 2 threads in that section as of a few days ago, but they got 'em working again).

It might be a while before you hear a lot about this on either site, but just know we're ALWAYS on the look out for ways to improve your DFWfb experience. Merging (combining/joining forces, however you want to look at it) with another somewhat local site will definitely increase the resources we have ;)!!!
