Has anyone made a homemade filter or using one now? Maybe even a homemade one that uses a powerhead/s to power it?
I saw this and got to thinking :D

Yep I make all my wet/dry there easy to do.But most my tanks are drilled so it is easier and cheaper.

Yeah I did a couple of sumps for my attempt at setting up a SW reef. I abandoned the project & sold the sumps off though.

Na...to much work and to easy to gather the parts on your own.

It really is a pretty simple design.
