Today, whenever I return to the board... posts that I've already read are now marked unread.

Also, when I first came on this morning... ALL posts were marked unread. I know that there were a few thread that I left unread yesterday.

Chris is a PUTZ! ARGH!

I've logged out, cleared cookies and it's better... but, I still have to go into a forum twice before it shows Read.

Ok Chris, you're not a putz...

Did y'all really change something? Or, am I just having a "My puter's screwin with me" kinda day?

Came back on at 12:47 and posts from as far back as 12:11 are now showing unread.

It's not just the forum itself but the individual threads.

I read Brandy's reply before going to another site... come back and shows that I HADN'T read her reply.

*sigh*

What did you guys doooooooooooo?

LOL

Its all chris, so now the issue is logging on not marking forums? Do you have it set to remember you instead of logging on? Cookies enabled? We may be going back to the way it was originally. Let me know

tsunderl
10-07-2007, 11:10 AM
Ok... The issue is that Chris has set it up to where I log in manually on to the site, I get the screen saying thanks for logging in then it goes to the home page where it will show me as not logged in. If I try logging in again, it may or may not log me in.

The other thing Chris did was to set it up to where I am logged in, but when I reply to a message, I get an error message saying "You do not have permission to perform this action. Please refresh the page and login before trying again.". Then I have to re-enter my reply. (Thank goodness for copy/paste!)

Dunno what I did to Chris, but fix it, then beat him with a slimey trout for me! :fw:

Do you have the box checked to remember you when logging on?

tsunderl
10-07-2007, 11:58 AM
Not on this computer. (Don't tell anybody, but I'm using my work laptop. :D) Now, on my desktop, I have the box checked and don't seem to have any problems. (But I can't get comfy on the couch and watch tv with my desktop.)

rolloffhill
10-07-2007, 12:34 PM
Check that box and it should solve the problem. It won't matter if they are both checked on each computer.

Oh- do you have a bad aftertaste now?

Trust me, you'd rather me find and purchase such an awesome cookie (and share the source) than have to hope I'll take the time to make em. ;)

My home made brownies are still better though. I've gotten brownies down to a science- I just didn't have the time or supplies to pull them together that day.

dude- I'm far too frugal!!

My brownies come with caramel, marshmallows and extra chocolate chunks. You can smoke the weed on the side if ya like. ;)

Nah, I've never touched the stuff, beer either. I was 31 & on my honeymoon the first & only time I've ever had anything alchoholic to drink.
Yeah I know I'm a prude... Besides, who can afford "Special brownies":spend:....I'm pushing it just to buy a box of generic brownie mix :broke: LOL

I totally understand and respect that.

I remember back in college- I drank beer because it was the common beverage- I bought a 6 pack and headed to the hot tub thinking- "well, it's the only liquid you are guaranteed access to for the next 4 years, you better learn to like it". I haven't been able to turn my back on her since...
