Website here, http://www.dallasnorthaquarium.com/livestock.htm

Has anybody ever been to this place? From the site it looks pretty amazing. Just wonder if somebody had personal feedback. I'm looking to take a look this weekend.

Search DNA on the site....

You will find plenty.

They have a used equipment section which comes in handy. Good selection of supplies but watch the pricing. Fish are hit and miss and cichlids are pricey.

Since you're going to be on the Dallas side of the metromess, check out The Fish Gallery. Display tanks to die for and good selection of fish and plants. They also sponsor this site.

Most of us on here like DNA, its a very nice store and the people are very friendly and helpful. A lot of variety. You can also find used fish items, tanks, gravel, pumps etc in their Used Items section.
Some of us even use it to meet other members to trade or buy fish from each other. Since it is a good central place to meet.

thanks, I think I will hit up the Fish gallery rather than DNA for now.
I read lot's of posts here about it not many of them were stellar :\
So if they are affiliated with the Fishbox then I'm sold.
Thanks guys.

I just give them a call before I go.

Pet Boutique is also a decent store. Their fish are pricey but I've had great luck with them.

i really prefer not to buy fish from dna. i bought 3 from them a while back for close to $70 . 2 died shortly after i got them (1-2 weeks). the other is still alive. I believe they have a 24 hour gaurantee. So basically $70 for a socolofi. i did like the look of the store though.

Rift 2 Reef(R2R) is is Lewisville or The Fish Place in Ft. Worth are both worth visits as well.

R2R has a nice selection of some of the harder to find fish espeically Tangs...
