Well for about a month I have patiently been anticipating this time. I have 4 large adult pair of GBR's and about 4 other sub-adult pairs. They were all put into seperate tanks and they would not spawn. Well after watching them and reading about how social they are, I set up a 55G, large pieces of slate, anubias plants, java moss, potts, huge sponge filter, set the temp at 81 and VIOLA!, I have eggs! As soon as I put them in together they all started to get busy! I will update later to see if they actually watched their aggs today. I was running out the door this morning as they were still spawning, so I am a little worried, but there are just Rams in the tank so it might not be as bad as keeping other fish away from them...I hope.
