we all know WE think....but do fish??? ive heard about souls and how animals dont have souls and so they cant think....but were, humans, animals too right?
im jus wondering if fish think...what do YOU think?? or know...facts are better
i just dont see how they dont think. i mean, the know where there spots are in the tank. theyd have to think about where to go. or theyd have to think about...like...who to attack or eat, or what they like to eat, or which buddies they like better....i dunno...i dunno what i think. i think they do. i guess
what do YOU think?? or know

Read Temple Grandin's book, Thinking in Pictures sometime. She feels that animals are visual thinkers not verbal thinkers. I tend to agree with her. I know that my very language impaired students are also visual thinkers. So, yes, animals DO think. There are also a number of studies on the memory span of fish and teaching fish certain skills.

My fish think they are going to get fed when they see me.
My fish run and hide at the first sign of a net in the water.
My dogs know what sit, down, crate, leave it, and sometimes stay means.
My cats know without a doubt that they will starve to death if they can see any part of the bottom of the food bowl.
Short answer, yes. :)
Sidney knows T is gunna SPOIL her!! :hehe:

Screw the dog whisperer. I want to watch the fish whisperer, even if I have to read subtitles.

:) I don't believe those fish think at all... simply puppets on a string attached to the guys hands... pfff j/k
If you can get any animal to synchronize their movements based on some other input (a guy standing nearby moving his hands) I think that proves a level of intelligence and understanding we can not comprehend, yet. Definitely cognitive thinking, at the bare minimum.
thats awsome ... Andrew whats not easy for you :hehe:
Drinking water while laying in bed. 'Bout drown myself every time. :tease:
