I'll bet everyone out there has fish food they don't want/use and would be willing to swap it out for someone else's.

For example, I have floating pellets that don't interest my cichlids and tubifex worms that my angels ignore. I would welcome various kinds of flakes, sinking pellets (small or tiny), anything veggie....

What do you think?

i bought some aquadine spirulina pellets yesterday (it was the only spirulina they had) but they are floaters not sinkers. I thought when the aquadine first came out it was overpriced but i paid 4.50 for a medium cup and the large were 12.50 and they were freaking huge..

I have some large floating Hikari Cichlid pellets I would trade. Need anything frozen, sinking algae wafers, or possibly good quality flakes or crisps.

Is anyone interested in Tubifex worms, weekend feeder thingies, small floating cichlid pellets, or medium floating cichlid pellets?

I would love veggie flakes or cichlid crisps. I don't need any algae wafers - I have a boatload of them.

did you ever give the Tubifex worms to your cichlids? I have 2 packs of Daphnia ZooPlankton. (Frozen fish food)

I also have Wardleys 1oz goldfish flakes 2 bottles of that (Full) that i would give to whoever needs it.

I've never tried feeding them to my cichlids because many of them are largely vegetarians and I didn't want to induce bloat.

I'll bet there are some omnivores in my tank that would snarf them up, though. :)

Why not? Is it good for tiny fry?

havn't tried it on fry but i don't see why not it dissolves very fast into tiny tiny plankton.. so i'm guessing yeah huh?

Anybody feel their cichlids fish meat? I used to use it, its great for growth and their health as well as fast growth. Rule of thumb is tho, you feel freshwater fish saltwater fish and vice versa..

It depends on the fish. There are some that will tolerate the diet just fine.

Most are better with a veggie diet. But there are always exceptions.
