So, my angel layed eggs again but this time she being EXTREMELY agressive, shes even beating the crap out of her mate. I'm lost. I rearranged the tank, but its the eggs that are making her agressive. I thought about taking the eggs out but she was being aggresive before she even layed them. I have a feeling nothings going to make her stop, and shes really causing some damage to my other angels. I'm thinking i might need to get rid of her :(. Do yall have any ideas? Or mabye someone could take her?

Could you place her and the eggs into a single tank?

I have a little 10 gal. tank you could have if that would help. I am green and don't know if that would help or not. Sorry!

Pull the eggs out & the agression should cease.
My angels do that too. Not to the point of damage but there is some pretty nasty bickering between them before laying eggs & afterwards, shortly after the eggs are gone, it ceases..

Yeah, my suggestion would be to take out the eggs until you can get another setup to then move her and the eggs until they hatch.
Maybe it's a form of Fishy PMS (not trying to be tacky, but sounds like the same symptoms)?

If you can't work it out (I DO hope that you can) and you need to rehome her... let me know.

then thats what i'll do. Thanks for the offer East, i really appreciate it!
what should I do about the wounds on my other angels. She's messed up their sides pretty bad, some of the scales are torn up, should i try salt?

if the wounds aren't too bad, they should heal pretty well, but if Melafix is good for open wounds and preventing infection. Big thing is to reduce the stressor and get the eggs out. Hope all goes well.

I sure am... how big are they? If you remember my guys are a bit aggressive themselves and I want to make sure they stand a fair chance.
The aggresion I had didn't result in any injuries....and, settled down after a short while.

they're pretty big, about 6-7 inches from the tip of the top fin down to the bottom, they're silver with a few black markings and very shiny lol
what pH do u keep your tank at?
fatfutures

At that size they should be fine... male? female?
My ph runs between 7.2 and 7.4. It's a little high and I've got some driftwood soaking right now to add to the tank. That ought to bring it down to a nice level.

not sure, I think they're both males cuz neither has tried to lay eggs. Could be completely wrong though lol
I keep my pH at 7.0 but it was high like yours for awhile so I'm sure they'd have no problem adjusting. They're very hardy, it's actually kinda funny because I hear about the horrible luck people have with keeping angels and how sensitive they are to water conditions but I've gone through some nasty nitrate and nitrite spikes and these guys got through it like champs. I'll pm you my # and we can talk more about it. :)

I'm not a fan of medicating my tanks....
so I would use a little rock salt for the wounds.

go for it Brandy, I will try to help. I have had luck in the past with sexing angels, but who knows.
