Anyone know anything about these??

It seems like a good deal, but do they actually work?

Seems a little to good to be true, but if it works like they say it does seem like a good deal.

What size tank does it say it'll support?

I did alot of looking into those before I bought my CO2 system. They work fine for a while. The biggest down sides I found to them is they apparently have to be pulled out & the carbon plates cleaned frequnetly. The carbon plates are also pricey (about $30) to replace when they wear out. Most peoplereported getting about 3-6 months use out of each plate depending on the level of setting. They aren't much good for tanks over 50-60 gallons as the plates wear & foul out quicker. In the long run I calculated it to be cheaper to just buy an injection system. It's probably best for about a 30G system

my tank is 46, and yeah i though it was too good to be true also, thats why i wanted to get yalls opinion first. i'd love to have an injection system but they just so pricey i wouldnt be able to afford a new one. OH and anyone hear about the ones with the shaving can type system? i think someone was talkin about them on here alittle while ago. If so, had any luck with those??

I think you should try a DIY system using yeast. Believe it or not it will work really well in most cases. With a 46G you should have no pH problems even if it runs all day & night. There are alot of DIY haters out there, but any CO2 is better than noe at all. You can build a diy setup for about $5.

All You Need is:
Empty 2 liter
Air Line
Air Stone
SM Round Plant tray to use for a bell reactor
Check Valve
Cup of Sugar
1/2 Packet of yeast
fill bottle half way with tank or distilled water.

This will get you a bare bones DIY system

for about 33 bucks you build build a low tech one like arnold, biggun, and I..... Go to USA aquariums they have a cheap system that you could try first. It should last a few months to see if you get some results..

$33?

3 Co2 cans = $21
Tubing = $2.5
Check Valve = $.3
Diffuser = $4
Total = $28 if you have the silicone tubing and check valve a little cheaper. It should last about a year... Easier then a DIY in my opinion and it does not run 24-7.

I have read a couple reviews on the eBay system or something close and most say it is good for a little while but cost about $30 every 4-6 months.

Yeah that's a pretty good deal. Considering if you had more than one tank really the only real investment is buying the CO2 cans. Plus no mess.

Yeah, you get 3 cans for $21. I think Arnold says it will last 3ish months. For the 20s I have them on I would be suprised if it ran out in 3 months. We will see. You could setup 3 tanks for about $33.

Basically Spring Creek and 75. It is the second light going east on Spring Creek, there is a old run down mall thing. It is in there. Look for Garden Ridge and go in that building.
