Im wanting to do something new with my fry tank. I had originally set it up as a hospital tank with extra stuff lying around. Its not very attractive. Now I want to have something that looks nice and is practicle. any ideas? Pics would be great. thanks.

Fry tanks are usually best if you run them bare bottom. It just makes frequent W/C & cleaning alot easier. If you go that route, & you want to decorate them, clay pots work well for holding decor down & still keeping the bottom clear for easy cleaning. Also mounting decor to rocks works well. Zip ties do wonders for making mobile rock formations too.
You can just pick all your decor up, move them around while cleaning the tank etc. Java moss also looks pretty good growing uninhibited in a bare bottom tank as well.
I've got my garage tanks decorated this way & it works pretty good.

Long bubble rod along the back wall makes a nice visual, bare bottom and a couple clay pots. Perhaps a few pieces of random driftwood.

This exact set-up it not very "pretty" ... would help if I finished the stand, had a "real" light and took all the extra sponges out...

But it's bare-bottom, easy to clean, yet still has rocks and crannies for the fry to hide in and some javafern for a little extra bio-help & greenery.
