View Full Version : Finally!! The fish that has escaped all photos

Well this is first time I have been able to snatch up a picture of this wild caught catfish. I have had it almost a year and seen it maybe about 25 times. I scored this fish from Dave from Dave's Rare Aquarium Fish via the Houston Aquarium Society auction.
This is a synodontis schoutedeni.

That it is!! I would guess it to be about 4" and reminds me of a channel cat, big pot belly but with better markings!!

1-6 months on next pic, loach is large, very large. Roughly 7.5" long and 3" tall in some spots without fin.
