So, my two beautiful angelfish layed eggs for the first time 2 days ago. I was SO excited I started calling and telling people even though none of them really cared lol :D. I got online and started reading up about angel eggs and it said that if they turn white then they're dead. So i watched them for the past two days and only a couple turned white, then my yellow mama gently took them off. Both were GREAT parents, dad included. Then last night I started seein some of them wiggle and couldn't wait for some baby angels. Then this morning I woke up and looked in the tank and they were all gone  :( Did they get eatin? What happened? Anyone have experience with angels?

Look again. A lot of times they move them immediately after hatching. Mine always do when the eggs make it to the wiggler stage. Usually they are just making their own caviar snack. Stupid fish! If they moved them then the parents will likely still be guarding a spot. Wigglers a much harder to see than the eggs.
The other possibility is they ate them, not uncommon with new pairs. Mine still do & they've been laying eggs for well over a year now.
The easiest way to solve that is to remove the eggs soon after they are laid, then raise them artificially.
If they ate them don't worry. I can practically get my angels to spawn on cue. If you do a 20% water change with water that is cooler than the tank. Then they might lay again in about 24-36 hrs. This is what mine do every time I do a W/C.
It also give you the benefit of controlling when they lay, that way you can pre-prep a nursery tank to raise the fry in.
If they ate them, it is probably due to stress. Their instincts tell them to eat the eggs if they are threatened. Mine do because they have tank mates that stress them. They even get PO'd at thier own reflections in the glass, which is probably why breeders paint the back, the sides & bottoms of their tanks. I don't have a separate setup to breed them in or I would.

hey i've got a question for ya (since you know alot about angels). I've got four angelfish, ones yellow and the other 3 are I guess silvers, but they dont look anything like the silvers I see on the web. Their bodies are silver without any black stripes. Are they silvers or something else?

My pair eat their eggs every time they spawn also. Pain in the butt, and I don't have a tank set up to raise fry. Congrats on yours making it to wrigglers! Let us know if you find them in the tank.

Rachel sorry it took so long to get back on this. Hve you tried googling "Platinum Angelfish" This might be what you have if it doesn't look like typical silver ones.
Does it look like this?

No found it on the internet. It's a platinum strain, they tend to fade as they grow
