Of course I did!!

I would have never seen it if joel hadn't found it for me. $50 for the wood and 2 decent sized holey rocks. I guess I owe him beers now:happydrunks:

Got it in tonight. Didn't get to clean the bottom good like I had wanted too when I had all the rocks out. Luckily I found that I didn't have but a few drops of amquel left before I sucked out to much water...:rolleyes1:

Anyway it got rearranged and I have more heigth now. Still can't get a good pic to save my life but I'll keep trying....:twitch:

Thanks it is growing on me.:)

Amazingly I pulled out 2 of the huge holey rocks and shook them out. Layed them on a towel, and about 5 minutes later I found a clown loach on the floor. Scooped him up and put him back in. Then another 5 minutes and I find another. I guess they were hiding pretty good in the holes. They both seem to be doing good. The latter one was looking kinda grim for a while, took him about 20 seconds or so to finally swim off...

Very nice. Someone's gonna have to give up that BW source :threaten::spank:

It really looks good with the holey rock. Seems to really add a different element to the rocks and plants that is really appealing to the eye.

Oh that one was on Craigslist, joel found it and sent me the link after he saw me drooling over cahn's piece in one of his show tanks. Cahn was going to look for a piece for me. You may drop him a line and let him know some dimensions, the piece he has is very nice and he hand picks them.

Fakes and real. Anubias are fine they don't pull them up. The anubias on the rocks are attached with fishing line, and fishing weights. The others are just stuck in the sand. You'll get a floater occasionally, but it is usually just a limb broke off. They aren't in the best of shape, but considering they have been in there for 2+ months they don't look TOO bad. The java ferns didn't fare so well though, but they have chutes off the main leaves so I replanted those. Had some dwarf hairgrass in there but it is allllll gone now. Hopefully I can put them in my 75 and get them to grow again off of the rootball but we'll see.

I have been through a few real plants but the anubias are about the only ones that lasted.

Ahhh, now I see. Hmmm "hand picked" normally means big m$n$y. Besides the fact JFP is 50-60 miles away.

I need to find a good way to make my own DW/BW. What y'll think, 1 -3 years soaking in a pond?

$30, I don't see any pics of plecos so I guess it is the driftwood you're seeing.
