Hey! I love this site!

I registered on the ninth of this month. I saw this add on the fort worth star telegram online website and was excited to see what ya'll are all about. I am a school teacher in Burleson, Texas. We are south of Fort Worth for those of you who don't know where we are. I have a 55 gallon tank and a 29 gallon tank, and right now I have a small tank with afra fry in it. I also have three dogs and two cats to speak of. Only the fish are indoor pets, so inside it is nice and quiet.

I have been a fish owner on and off since I was a kid. I have only kept cichlids for a few years now, and I am in love with them. They are so quirky and fun to watch.

I have attached pictures of my tanks. I just rearranged them today, so I am exhausted. It is nearly worse than moving furniture around. I posted pics of my fish under the african cichlid heading if you want to see them. I am loving reading up about everyone and seeing the pics of fish!

Welcome to the asylum...the inmates are harmless and they serve meatloaf every Thursday night...and they have green Jello with grapes for dessert. Its a great place to hang and talk fish...its an even better place to make friends. So stick around and maybe we can get XTC to make his famous strawberry daquris made with bananna rum. By the way, great looking tanks.

My wife, daughters and I go to church in Burleson, so I'm very familar with that area.

Have you gone to the Fish House by albertsons? They have some pretty cool cichlids and they are supposed to get some more in soon. They also have many items for cleaning and stuff cheaper than Petsmart.
