Basically I'm supposed to take aged (for how long?) water and pour it into several clear glass jars and then add plant material, whether from a boiled plant "tea" or squeezing the life from some aquarium plants?
Then I'm supposed to hide it away for several days, see which one is the best of the bunch and then I dump it in the tank (the whole thing?) and start all over again?
I guess to be the best, it needs to look like thick or slightly cloudy water?
How often do I need to add it to the tank?

Can somebody explain the difference between that and having an aquarium chock full of plants?:confuzeld:

The purpose for aged water is it will allow the bacteria to grow since all the chloramines/chlorine has disapated. The chemicals from freshly tereaded water will hinder growth. Found this out with brine shrimp LOL Treated waterBest way to cultivate infusoria is to just get a jar of your tank water add some grass clippings, or powdered egg mix or some tank plants & set it in a shaded spot for a few days, when the water is cloudy your good to go.
Try this link: Grow your own Infusoria (http://www.aqualandpetsplus.com/Live%20Food,%20Infusoria.htm)
