What are you breeding?
Do you plan on selling them?
How long and how old?
Setups?

If we can keep this clean we can leave it a sticky if not I will make it a thread and let it go.

I've got a lot of Red Empress fry and juvies that will need homes in a few months as well as some salousi juvies that are about ready to go. I'd like for them to start coloring up (male vs female) before they go to new homes. Haven't decided on a price, but I know I'm not going to get rich so it will be reasonable.

I have 3 spot gouramis (http://www.dfwfishbox.com/forums/production/showthread.php?t=1071) ready for new homes. Free to anyone with a DFWfishbox account, but would appreciate a $1 donation to the site per fish - not required.

I also breeding mini shrimp. I have Red Cherries, Yellows and Dark Green-ish looking shrimp. The actual name escapes me at the moment. I will announce when they're ready and pricing will be:

I am breeding Kenyii and Yellow Labs right now, but hope to get my RE's, Icebergs, and Red Jewels paired up in the near future. I do not pull the fry on purpose, because I don't want to have to deal with being overstocked or having to find homes for them. I am more for trading or giving them out for free when I can.

I have been collecting my bronze cory eggs to see if any will hatch. My corys have been in the tank just over a week and they have been laying eggs every other day, but I have been fighting with my male BN, he loves to eat them. I'll just have to wait and see if any will hatch :D.

I would also like to breed my BNs but right now they are acting like little six year olds afraid of getting cooties, but they still have a bit of growing to do before they are ready to breed.

Also unintentionally breeding guppies, but ya'll know how livebearers can be. Can we say Jack Dempsey Snacks?

I have known that a Demasoni has been holding atleast since Friday, then I noticed just today that my Zebras mouth has gotten fat. I am having good luck with my Angels. My wife and I went to the fish store and we each picked one fish. turns out she picked the female and I picked and male and poof we have a mated pair.

I lost the first a few batches. It may have been the pair was not fully mature yet. Now I have 30 babies about dime to nickle sized.

My male gets protective and eats the spawn so I started pulling the slate and placing in a 2.5 gallon tank with a box filter and no gravel. This keeps the babies in a confined space and makes it easier for them to find the baby brine shrimp.

After 6 weeks they are large enought to transfer to a larger tank for grow out..

I currently have about 200-300 wigglers on the slate and hope this will be my first large batch...

Might need to see if anyone wants to sell a 55 because if I save this spawn I am going to need more room!

Right now I seem to be breeding 10 gallon tanks :eek::eek:
Every time I go cruising on Saturday, one or two jump in my car as I pass yard sales. Craziest danged thing you ever saw.:hehe:

Eventually my wife is going to get mad about all the tanks in the garage & kill me!

Other than that, I have a healthy collection of Spanish Dancer gupps & the female endler's are fattening up as well.

Over the last month or so my bushy nose plecs have decided to crowd their tank. Wasn't planned, I haven't taken any steps to encourage this but they keep on keepin on. Male is albino and female (don't know which girl it is ) but both are calico. Babies are kinda cool with dots of cream color dark brown bodies and striping on the top and tail fins. If I could get a camera to work I would attempt pictures. Neat accident though.

I had a breeding pair of silver angels. I say "had" because the female was injured during one of their sparring matches just before the last spawn and I lost her.

I currently have one spawn that is ready to be sold and another that needs to grow for a couple more months. (Look for them in the "For Sale" threads soon!) After that, I am probably done for a while because we're expecting our first child in August. I may try for another breeding pair after I get used to this "daddy thing". ;)
