I think it has to do with how many posts you make. But, I'm also pretty sure that the MODS can change it to whatever you want... like Ruler of the Universe!

We talked about deleting the "titles" all together, but can't be done to my knowledge.

The admins pretty much choose your own (admin = red name) and anyone that has donated to the site gets a bold blue name and a custom title (actually I think it reads "site supporter").

Everything else is the forums defaults. We thought about changing the defaults to fish names, but never really finished the conversation or decided anything to my knowledge.

We just overlooked it with all the structure and setting up that we did, but I nominate Andrew to come up with the levels of members ranks. :D

This of course means everyone will be on different levels, but have something to aspire too...:hehe:

As of right now, the custom user titles is reserved for site supporters if they choose, or in brandy's case no choice..:hehe:

Easy way to get around "offending" anyone... come up with a single title. Like DFW Fish Lover" OK, it doesn't have to be THAT gay but, you get the idea. Everyone has that title (with the exception of the mods) unless they become paid contributors and then they can choose their title.

(regarding the latin names) LOL, I kinna thought of adding em in there, but wasn't sure how much room I had.

I wasn't gonna go as generic as "catfish", but actual do as many as I can. Ex: Columbian Shark, Pictus Catfish, Glass Catfish, etc. Then do Bleeding Heart Tetra, Neon Tetra, Black Skirt Tetra, etc.

Kinna make them go along the same lines as the post counts... lower post counts = lower level of the aquarium... then go up the aquarium from there.

I could do equipment if you'd rather... wet/dry, HOB, Sump, Pump... j/k

We were trying to get rid of them all together, but they have to be there and there has to be at least three :mad:. Plus we've had several requests for some cool titles, so what the hey. When I have time I'll get some going.
