Brine shrimps

I breed brine shrimps for my fish. I bought a little can with eggs in petsmart for just 1.99. My live bearers love them . All you need is the eggs , a little tank or a bucket , a pump with an air stone and (aquarium )salt.

I believe you will have better hatch rates and they will live longer with Epsom salt.

Epsom salt? from walmart or any grocery store. Cheaper then aquarium salt also.

Ah thank you . You know I'm from Germany thats why I'm not so familiar with the US-brand names . But after you mentioned that it is the regular stuff from the grocery stores a bell in my head ringed ;-)

if you want something that will live longer try daphnia...BBS die within a few hours of being introduced, daphnia are higher in protien and dont foul the water.freshwater inverts are beter than BBS.
