actually that was taken w my old 69 buck hp 1.3 pix, just adjusted contrast, fish are actually brighter under light, killies are spectacularly colored fish in a lot of cases

What can you put with a killie?? Are the community? sorry..i don't know anything about them.....anything would be appreciated!

lol. Mine used to eat otos...anything they could fit in their mouth. I walked to the tank one day to see my female swimming around with a mouth full of oto and just his little tail sticking out. haha. Other than that, mine were very peaceful

how long do killifish live for?? i heard that if you can get them to live for more than a year you're lucky

hmm, not sure on that. The ones my mom had lived for a while. May not have been much more than a year though. :confused:

I've read that annual Killifish live about 10 months. Non Annual have a normal life span. Those can live a few years in most cases.
